“We’ve met very good friends here who we enjoy going away on trips with. It’s a very friendly, very social place. The village centre is a great facility. Really, it’s just a great place to live and we are quite happy here. We do a lot of travel in our motorhome and like that we can lock up and leave, and our house is taken care of.” - Ross Cleaver – Papamoa Sands resident

“My wife Judi and I moved up from Wellington and we haven’t looked back – you couldn’t get us to move now. We have fitted in really well and we are living the dream, you might say. We are very lucky here – we have some incredible amenities at the Village Centre, and every day there is more going on. I am nearly 70 but I still want to have a bit more life and a bit more fun. There’s a lot of people who are very happy here.” - Ashley Nausbaum – Papamoa Sands resident

“I’m happy as a clam – I have recommended the village to three of my friends who have also moved in. At Freedom you can socialise as much as you like, without even having to leave the village.” - Bonnie Wynne – Papamoa Sands resident

“I love my Freedom home. The houses are reasonably priced and very well finished. I’m very happy living at Freedom.” - Annie Blair – Papamoa Sands resident

“I recommend Freedom to my friends and family. It’s safe and secure, and you will never be lonely. The social aspect is fantastic. Buying at Freedom allowed me to free up cash – before, I just had my house. Now I have a nice little nest egg.” - Jan Putan – Papamoa Sands resident

“I moved from Auckland, and living at Freedom has given me the chance to sit back and relax. I’ve got choices now. Everything that I need out of a lifestyle village is what I have here – I have my independence, but I also have new friends. I feel safe here, and people look out for one another. I love this lifestyle.” - Judy James – Papamoa Sands resident

“There are people who have worked hard all their lives, and now from selling their Auckland house and buying at Freedom, they have spending money for the first time to go overseas or buy a new car. We love the feel of the village and the layout of the houses. We are very happy here.” - Alan & Glenys Jameson – Papamoa Sands residents

“We go away a lot and it’s great that our house is looked after while we are away. We come back and it’s the same as when we left it. We wanted to live somewhere we could have a small home, and have somewhere to park the motorhome. Freedom is ideal – and it’s great to get away from Auckland traffic.” - Linda McKenzie – Papamoa Sands resident

    COVID-19 Alert

Congratulations New Zealand! We made it to Level 1!

This means that life for residents in our villages returns to normal. Village activities, van trips, happy hours and morning teas can all pick up where they left off pre-COVID.

We continue to welcome all sales enquires with open arms and look forward to showing off our beautiful, vibrant villages in their entirety.

We would particularly like to thank all our residents, staff, and visitors for the care you have taken over the past few months in helping keep our villages safe. Thanks to you, Freedom Lifestyle Villages can celebrate being completely COVID-free over this time.

WHAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO LOOK OUT FOR

As we return to business as usual it is important to remember that we should still be careful. COVID-19 remains a threat in other countries and re-occurrences are possible in the future. We need to keep the basic hygiene measures going, including washing of hands and coughing or sneezing into our elbows.

Contact tracing remains important. Visitors and contractors to our village offices will still be asked to sign in, and we should still personally keep track of where we have been and who we have seen should urgent contact tracing be required.

You can also be reassured that should future restrictions occur we will immediately move to support our residents and staff.

Thank you to everyone for the part you have played in helping eliminate COVID-19.

    Ngā mihi nui.
